Mayonnaise Baked Fish


Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly grease a baking dish with butter or white oil and place the fish fillets in it. Any white fish fillets (such as Bhetki, Tilapia, Catfish) can be used for this recipe. In a bowl combine mayonnaise, butter, chopped onions, cheese, lemon juice, seasoning and ground pepper. Mix well to form a thick paste. Spread mixture evenly over the fish fillets, then top with bread crumbs. Bake for about 10 minutes or until fish is flaky. Then grill (broil) for another 2-3 minutes until the fish is golden-brown.
