Musur Daal

Ingredients:

* 1 cup Musur Dal
* 1/4 cup chopped onions
* 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
* 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
* 2 green chilies
* salt, to taste
* 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
* 1 tbsp cooking oil

Method of preparation:

1. Soak the musur dal for 1 hour.
2. Boil the dal with turmeric powder, salt and green chilies.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds starts to sizzle, add onions and garlic and cook till they are slightly brown.
3. Add the daal in the pan and boil it for 10 minutes on low flame.
